Return & Refund Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

This Return & Refund Policy applies to purchases made through Smart Home Zone (www.SmartHomeZONE.com), operated by Building Solutions Trading & Contracting (CR: 168630-01) in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

1. Overview

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Returns and refunds are accepted only under the terms below. For smart home and electronic devices, eligibility depends on the item’s condition and whether it has been opened, installed, configured, paired, activated, or used.

2. Return Windows

  • Unused / Unopened items: return request must be submitted within 3 days from delivery.
  • Manufacturing defect / wrong item / missing parts: report must be submitted within 24 hours from delivery.
  • Items with confirmed manufacturing defect: handled according to our Warranty Policy (authorized distributor warranty).

3. Return Eligibility (Must Meet All)

  • Item is unused, unopened, and in original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and seals intact.
  • Item is in resalable condition (no scratches, marks, odors, or missing components).
  • Proof of purchase is provided (order number / invoice).

4. Non-Returnable Items

  • Any item that has been opened, installed, configured, paired, activated, or used.
  • Special-order or customized products.
  • Digital products, software licenses, activation codes, or downloadable items.
  • Items damaged due to misuse, improper installation, power issues, liquids, or physical impact.
  • Clearance items or items explicitly marked Final Sale (if applicable).

5. Damaged, Incomplete, or Incorrect Orders

If you receive a damaged, incomplete, or incorrect product, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We may request clear photos and/or a short unedited video showing the issue, the packaging, and the shipping label.

6. Inspection & Approval

All returns are subject to inspection. If inspection confirms the item meets the return conditions, the return will be approved. If inspection shows the item was used, opened, or does not match the claim, the return may be rejected and the item may be sent back to you.

7. Refund Method & Timeline

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method whenever possible.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
  • Refund processing typically takes up to 10 business days after approval (bank processing time may vary).

8. Return Shipping

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.
  • We may arrange courier collection through our shipping partner SMSA upon request (fees may apply).
  • We are not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit if not properly packed.

9. Orders Refused / Undeliverable

If an order is refused at delivery or returned as undeliverable due to incorrect address or unavailability, we may deduct any shipping/handling charges from the refund.
